Triparna (5-66), Chirantan (67), Ishan (4-66) impress in Jr U-15 semifinals

In the CAB Junior Under-15 tournament semifinal matches on Sunday, both the batsmen and bowlers impressed on Day 1.
In the first semifinal, Triparna Samanta (5-66) was superb with the ball as Mainland Sambaran Cricket Academy bowled out Akbar Cricket Academy for 218. Shubham Kumar Prasad scored 46.
In reply, Mainland Sambaran Cricket Academy were 164/3 at stumps. Chirantan Sahoo (67) and Rajesh Mondal (57) impressed with the bat.
In the second semifinal, Ishan Malakar (4-66), Diganta Howlader (3-31), Mayukhmoy Dutta (2-54) helped Chinsurah Union AC bowl out Mohun Bagan AC for 221. Avnish Shahi scored 67. In reply, Chinsurah Union AC were 45/1 at stumps.
