Bengal Cricket Academy, CAB's academy in Kalyani was inaugurated on September 4 in the presence of, among others, the then CAB's junior cricket consultant, Dav Whatmore and National Cricket Academy's Director of Operations, Sandip Patil. The ground has proper dressing rooms, swimming pool and pavilion and would be utilized for hosting domestic tournaments conducted by the BCCI.
