Haryana advance thanks to first innings lead

Haryana U19 batters put up a fiery show in a drawn game against Bengal in Cooch Behar trophy knockouts match and advanced to the next round courtesy to first innings lead earlier at Eden Gardens.
Haryana bundled Bengal for 221 runs while defending their first innings total of 462 runs.
Put to bat again Haryana batter Mayank Shandilya who smashed unbeaten double ton in the first innings scored 174 in the second. Parth Vats showed off his batting skills with 145 off 161 balls later to take Haryana to a huge 603/9 at the end of the final day's play.
Bengal bowler Siddharth Singh took 4 wickets in the second innings.
