Dominant Bengal storm into final of GCA-Reliance
U-19 multi-day meet

Bengal stormed into the final of the GCA-Reliance Men’s Under-19 All India Invitation (3-day) Tournament after a dominant 32-run victory over Goa in the semifinal match at the Railway Ground in Ahmedabad on Friday.
Bengal’s Rohit (6-70 & 5-54) was the star performer, bagging 11 wickets in the match to dismantle the opposition batting line-up.
After posting 229 in their first innings, Bengal bowled out Goa for 228 to bag the all-important first innings lead.
In their second innings, Bengal scored 215 to hand a challenging total to Goa. Ankit Chatterjee (68), Sachin Yadav (39), Rohit (20 not out) impressed with the bat for Bengal.
Chasing the target, Goa, were bundled out for 184 in 60.1 overs on the third and final day. Besides Rohit, Sayan Paul bagged 3 for 63.
Bengal will face Gujarat 1 in the summit clash on Sunday.
