Saksham bags 5, Md Kaif claims 3 for Bengal
in Sr Men’s Inter State Multi-Day meet

Riding on a superb bowling performance, Bengal bundled out Pondicherry for 256 in their first innings on Day 1 in the Senior Men’s Inter State Multi-Day Tournament (Siechem Trophy) in Pondicherry on Tuesday.
Saksham Chaudhary (5-49), Md Kaif (3-41) were brilliant with the ball while Raju Halder also claimed a wicket for Bengal. For Pondicherry, Aman Khan scored an unbeaten 134.
In reply, Bengal were 22/2 at stumps on the opening day. Kazi Junaid Saifi (4) and Anuj Kumar Singh (11) remained unbeaten.
