Bengal emerge champions of U-19 Inter State
Multi-Day Siechem Trophy

Riding on a clinical all-round performance, Bengal outclassed Himachal Pradesh by 2 wickets in the summit clash on Thursday to emerge champions of Under-19 Men's Inter State Multi-Day Tournament (Siechem Trophy).
Bengal's Ashutosh Kumar (4-20) was awarded the man of the match for his superb bowling effort. Ashutosh was also named the man of the series.
Opting to bat in Pondicherry, Himachal Pradesh lost wickets at regular intervals and were bundled out for 197 in 57.5 overs. Vaastav Garg top-scored with 55 runs.
Besides Ashutosh, Rohit Das (2-24), Arjun (2-47), Agastya Shukla (1-36) and Sayan Paul (1-1) were impressive with the ball.
In reply, Bengal went over the line, scoring 199/8 in 40.4 overs.
Sayan (65), Rajesh Mondal (52), Aditya Roy (36), Abhiprai Biswas (26) were the star performers with the bat for Bengal.
