Kueens to easy win in women’s league

Prativa Rana (4-15) led from the front with a stellar show with the ball as Murshidabad Kueens bagged a commanding eight-wicket victory over Shrachi Rarh Tigers in the replay women’s match of the Bengal Pro T20 League Season 2 at the JU, 2nd Campus, Salt Lake on Sunday.
Murshidabad’s Tanushree Sarkar also displayed a brilliant all-round show bagging 1 for 14 followed by a match-winning unbeaten 46 off 33 balls.
Put into bat, after the match was reduced to 17-overs-a-side, Shrachi Rarh Tigers managed to post 101/9 in the allotted overs. Bristi Maji top-scored with 23 runs.
Chasing the target, Murshidabad Kueens went over the line easily scoring, 103/2 in 15.1 overs. Trishita Sarkar also made useful contribution with a handy 33 off 36.
Piyali Ghosh and Payal Vakharia bagged a wicket each for Shrachi Rarh Tigers.
