Amateur Cricket Club will take on Bantra Cricket Club in the final of the Junior Under-18 Invitation Tournament after both teams bagged wins in their respective semifinal matches.
In the first semifinal, Amateur Cricket Club beat Vijay Sports Club by 38 runs. Amateur Cricket Club scored 152/9 in 36 overs, thanks to Sparsh Mimani (42). Sayan Paul and Aman Kumar bagged 3 wickets each. In reply, Vijay Sports Club scored 114. Adreet Das (4-8) and Abhishek Kumar (3-15) were impressive with the ball.
In the second semifinal, Arpan Aich smashed a brilliant 117 as Bantra Cricket Club beat Mauri Sporting Club by 90 runs. Bantra Cricket Club scored 231/9 in 50 overs. Riju Kumar Ram bagged 2 wickets. In reply, Mauri Sporting Club were bundled out for 141. Sourav Poddar was the pick of the bowlers bagging 4 for 21.
