In the Dattu Phadkar Under-15 Tournament Quarterfinal matches on Wednesday, Purba Barasat Adarsha Vidyapith and St Johns Public School bagged wins to enter the semifinals.
In the first match, Purba Barasat Adarsha Vidyapith beat Cathedral Mission High School by 5 wickets. Cathedral Mission High School were bowled out for 105 in 39.4 overs. Sougata Roy (3-19) and Priyanshu Sarkar (2-16) impressed with the ball. In reply, Purba Barasat Adarsha Vidyapith scored 106/5 in 30.3 overs. Rahul Mondal (28) and Sougata (27) were the pick of the batters. Aryadeep Mandal bagged 2 wickets.
In the second rain-hit match, St Johns Public School won by spin of coin against Chanchal Siddeswari Institution.
