CAB, Bengal cricket think tank meet

With the betterment and upliftment of Bengal cricket being the sole priority, CAB President Snehasish Ganguly along with the experts of Bengal cricket came together on Tuesday to plan the way forward for the game in the state.
In a collaboration meeting, the coaches of Bengal Under-16 & U-19 age group, Vision 2028 coaches, Talent Hunt Committee and Junior Selection Committee met to have a detailed discussions and planning for the season 2025-26.
Vision coaches Manoj Tiwary, Ashok Dinda, Ajay Varma, Dattatreya Mukherjee; U-19 coaches Saurasish Lahiri, Sanjib Sanyal; U-16 coaches Arindam Das, Sourav Sarkar, Junior Selection Committee’s Amitava Chakraborty, Rohan Banerjee, Prabir Acharjee, Satyen Bhattacharya, Soumitro Majumdar and Talent Hunt Committee’s Ashok Malhotra and Indu Bhushan Ray were present.
In the meeting, it was discussed, how the collaboration of each of the teams could add value to Bengal cricket and eventually help get the most out of the players while preparing for the upcoming season.
Post the meeting, everyone collectively agreed on the importance of increased collaboration, incorporating innovative scouting techniques, and creating dynamic training paths that would cater to emerging players’ needs.
Also discussed in the meeting was how the talent in Bengal could be made the best use of. Focusing not only on skill development but also psychological and physical fitness and ensuring building a well-rounded player for the future was also talked widely.
