In the CAB Women’s Club Cricket League T20 Tournament on Monday, both the bowlers and batters dominated.
In the first match, Town Club beat City AC by 8 wickets. City AC were bundled out for 41 in 11.5 overs. Preyosree Pandey bagged an impressive 6 for 7. In reply, Town Club scored 42/2 in 11 overs. Shivanshi Tiwari top-scored with 25 runs.
In other matches, Md Sporting Club beat Barisha Sporting Club by 13 runs. Batting first, after the match was reduced to five-overs-a-side, Md Sporting Club scored 50/0 in 5 overs. Mita Paul (23 not out) and Sansthita Biswas (25 not out) impressed. In reply, Barisha Sporting Club scored 37/3 in 5 overs. Smriti Bar scored 18 not out. Mita bagged 2 for 11.
Bhowanipur Club beat Ariadaha Sporting Club by 6 wickets. Batting first, after the match was reduced to 15-overs-a-side, Ariadaha Sporting Club were bundled out for 61. Chinky, Ankita Mahanta and Unnati Roy bagged 2 wickets each. In reply, Bhowanipur Club scored 62/4 in 13.4 overs. Nikita bagged 2 wickets.
Rajasthan Club beat Kalighat Club by 19 runs. Rajasthan Club were bowled out for 88 in 18.3 overs. Bristi Maji scored 20. Dhruti Roy, Shreya Karar, Mamata Kisku bagged 2 wickets each. In reply, Kalighat Club were bundled out for 69 in 18.5 overs. Ariktha Manna and Rikita Paul bagged 3 wickets each.
