Anas (169), Ravi (5-13), Vipin (5-27) impress in First Div Qualifiers

In the CAB First Division League Qualifier Round encounters on Sunday, both the bowlers and batters impressed on Day 1.
In the first match, riding on a brilliant 169 by Anas Ali Khan, Aikya Sammilani scored 339/5 at stumps. Shoaib Ahmed Khan scored 65 not out. For Calcutta Port Trust Sports Club, Parvej Alam bagged 2 wickets.
In other matches, Ravi Yadav (5-13), Narayan Rana (3-11), Soumyajit Mandal (31 not out) helped Shibpur Institute beat Dalhousie Athletic Club by 8 wickets. Dalhousie Athletic Club were bundled out for 58. Shibpur Institute scored 63/2.
Vipin Chandra (5-27), Ankush Sur (3-26) helped Sporting Union beat E.Rly.Sports Association by 5 wickets. E.Rly.Sports Association were bundled out for 77. Sporting Union scored 83/5.
Arijit Goswami (66), Yuvraj Gupta (47) helped Belgachia United Club post 260/8 at stumps. For Calcutta Police Club, Anish Biswas and Noman Manzoor bagged 3 wickets each.
