Kangkana (7-8), Koushiki (3-22) impress in Inter District U-14 Girl’s meet

In the Inter District Under-14 Girl’s One-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Tuesday, the bowlers dominated the batters.
In the first match, Kangkana Majumdar bagged an impressive 7 wickets for 8 runs as Combined District U-14 Girls A beat Combined District U-14 Girls B by 110 runs. Combined District U-14 Girls A scored 167/7. In reply, Combined District U-14 Girls B were bowled out for 57.
In other matches, Koushiki Ghosh (3-22), Nandini (2-13), Adrija Sarkar (40) helped South 24 PGS DSA beat Hooghly DSA by 8 wickets. Hooghly DSA scored 102/9. South 24 PGS DSA scored 106/2. Snigdha Bag scored 55.
The Coochbehar DSA and Siliguri MKP match was abandoned due to softness of the pitch & outfield.
