In the CAB First Division Super League Group A encounters on Sunday, both the batsmen and bowlers impressed on Day 3.
In the first match, Bhowanipur Club bagged first innings lead after their match against Kidderpore Sporting Club ended in a draw. Vivek Singh (172), Arindam Ghosh (136) and Pradipta Pramanik (108) helped Bhowanipur Club post a mammoth 754/7 in their first innings after bowling out Kidderpore Sporting Club for 249. Kidderpore Sporting in their second innings were 159/7 at stumps on Day 3. Tuhin Banerjee bagged three wickets.
In other matches, Barisha Sporting Club bagged first innings lead after their match against United Club ended in a draw. After posting 415/8 in their first innings, Barisha Sporting bowled out United Club for 218. Arjun Bhardwaj scored 68. Soumyadip Mandal and Ankit Mishra bagged 3 wickets each. Following on, United Club were 57/2 at stumps on Day 3.
East Bengal took first innings lead after their match against Md Sporting Club ended in a draw. After bowling out Md Sporting Club for 307 in their first innings, East Bengal Club scored 311. Md Sporting in their second innings were 344/7 at stumps on Day 3. Manendra scored 66. Kanishk Seth bagged 4 for 51.
Town Club bagged first innings lead after their match against Tapan Memorial Club ended in a draw. After posting 356/9 in their first innings, Town Club bowled out Tapan Memorial Club for 237. Yash Garg bagged 6 for 92. Town Club in their second innings scored 116/4 decl while Tapan Memorial Club in their second innings were 79/2 at stumps on Day 3.
