In the CAB First Division League Group B two-day encounters on Sunday, both the bowlers and batters dominated on Day 2.
In the first match, Subham Singh (90), Abir Chatterjee (77, 5-59), Priyanshu Gautam (4-93) helped Ballygunge United Club beat Kolkata Union Sporting Club by 5 wickets. Kolkata Union Sporting Club scored 228. In reply, Ballygunge United Club scored 229/5.
In other matches, Dakshin Kalikata Sansad beat Police Athletic Club by 87 runs. Dakshin Kalikata Sansad scored 239. In reply, Police Athletic Club were bundled out for 152. Soumya Roy Chowdhury (5-54) impressed with the ball.
Belgachia United Club beat Paikpara Sporting Club by 1 wicket. Paikpara Sporting Club scored 183. In reply, Belgachia United Club scored 187/9. Jay Gopal scored 59.
Aryan Club beat Shibpur Institute by 150 runs. Aryan Club posted 290. In reply, Shibpur Institute were bundled out for 140. Rajarshi Mitra bagged 4 for 46. Bapi Manna bagged 3 wickets.
Aikya Sammilani beat Tollygunge Agragami by 147 runs. Aikya Sammilani posted 359/7. In reply, Tollygunge Agragami were bowled out for 212. Rahul Prasad bagged 4 wickets while Shivash Chaudhary claimed 3.
Kumartuli Institute beat Bhukailash Sporting Club by 38 runs. Kumartuli Institute posted 293. In reply, Bhukailash Sporting Club were bowled out for 255. Ranjit Agarwal scored a fine 105. Anish Dutta bagged 4 wickets while Abhijeet Prasad claimed 3.
