Nitin Menon conducts on-field umpire practical exam

India’s ICC elite panel umpire Nitin Menon conducted the on-field practical examination at the Rajasthan Club ground on Friday for the aspiring cricket umpires who aim to become a member of the BCCI umpires.
After the written examination at the Eden Gardens on Thursday, Menon conducted the practical test for the 41 applicants. Among the 41 participants, four would be selected for the next round of tests.
The participants below aged 45 were eligible for the examination.
Bringing on board ICC elite panel umpire Menon for the examination, for the very first time, has been made possible thanks to the immense support provided by CAB President Snehasish Ganguly.
This initiative was taken by CAB Umpires Committee, led by Chairman Prosenjit Banerjee. Also present for the occasion was CAB Umpires Committee member Dr Sudip Banerjee.
