Prativa slams 98 as Bengal bag 4th straight
win in Women’s U-19 One-Day Trophy

Riding on a brilliant all-round show, Bengal down Bihar by 159 runs in Bengaluru on Friday to register their fourth successive victory in the Women’s Under-19 One-Day Trophy.
After four wins from as many matches, Bengal climb to top of Group A with 16 points. Bengal next face Odisha in their final group match on Sunday.
Batting first, Prativa Mandi smashed a brilliant 98 off 105 balls while Ipsita Mondal (33) also impressed as Bengal posted a challenging 272/8 in 50 overs.
In reply, Bihar lost wickets at regular intervals and were bundled out for 113 in 48 overs. For Bengal, Jahanbi Raj Paswan (3-25), Koyel Sarkar (2-14) were superb with the ball while Rupal Tiwari, Monika Mal, Priyanka Goldar, Smriti Bar and Priyanka Prasad bagged one each.
