KKR go top after beating Rajasthan

7th April 2019
Kolkata Knight Riders openers stiched a 91-run partnership to help Dinesh Karthik and men top the points table beating struggling Rajasthan Royals by 8 wickets in a low scoring Indian Premier League match today.
Chasing a target of 140 runs Sunil Narine hit 47 off 25 balls while Chris Lynn smashed a superb 32-ball 50 to finish the match with 37 balls left to play.
Earlier put to bat first Rajasthan could only manage 139/3 thanks to Steve Smith's 73 not out.
With disciplined bowling KKR bowlers didn't let any RR batter apart from Smith score big run and restricted them to a low total.
Harry Gurney bagged 2 wickets for 25 runs while Prasidh Krishna took 1 as Rajasthan lost their fourth game.
