Rabada, Shaw shine as Delhi beat KKR in super over

Kagiso Rabada bowled a fiery spell in the super over to back up Prithvi Shaw's early efforts and help Delhi Capitals beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 3 runs in Indian Premier League match today at Feroz Shah Kotla.
While defending a low Super Over total of 10 runs the start was not good for Delhi as KKR's in-form batter Andre Russell smashed Rabada for a boundary.
The South African came back with better line and length to remove Russell's middle stump with an absolute ripper and didn't let Dinesh Karthik and Robin Uthappa take the match away.
However Kolkata stayed at top of the table with better runrate than Delhi with four points from three matches.
Earlier put to bat first Knights rode on Russell's blistering 28-ball 62 and skipper Karthik's patient 50 to post a fighting 185/8 after KKR top order failed miserably.
The visitors were reduced to 61/5 till Karthik-Russell duo came to the rescue with a crucial 95-run partnership while Harshal Patel bagged two wickets and Rabada, Amit Mishra, Sandeep Lamichhane, Chris Morris picked up 1 wicket apiece.
It was all about Prithvi Shaw while chasing as the Delhi youngster put on a superb performance with willow but missed out on a well-deserved century by 1 run after Karthik caught him off Lockie Ferguson.
Delhi skipper Shreyas Iyer also aided with 32-ball 43 but in the last three overs Prasidh Krishna, Ferguson and Kuldeep Yadav bowled exceptionally well to leak just 17 runs and force the match into super overs.
