Indian Boys win by 4 wickets

Indian Boys Athletic Club won by 4 wickets against YMCA (Col Br) chasing a huge target of 397 runs thanks to Saikat Das who stitched unbeaten 186-run seventh wicket partnership with Varun Malik in CAB First Division League tournament (2 days) today.
Indian Boys were reduced to 134/5 chasing that big target but Saikat stood tall till the end to smash 126 not out off 140 deliveries to put on two crucial 80 and 186-run partnerships with Kunal Chawdhury (55) and Varun (87) respectively to ensure the victory.
In other match Aditya Jaiswal smashed unbeaten century to help Dakshin Kalikata Sansad thrash Aikya Sammilani by 8 wickets.
Chasing a target of 260 runs Aditya hit a ruthless 140 not out off 159 balls which included 11 sixes and 12 boundaries to reach the target in just 52.4 overs.
Rajasthan Club rode on three half-centuries to chase down a target of 337 runs and demolished Bhukailash Sporting Club by 6 wickets.
Needing 324 runs to win Rajsthan openers Souren Roy and Prolay Dey gave them a solid start by putting on a 129-run partnership till Chandan Singh caught the latter one off Harihar Sarkar on 52.
Souren highest scored for Rajasthan with a 136-ball 84 while Priyank Bengani (77) was another half-centurian for them.
Another centurion of the day was Parth Palawat who inspired United Club to a 7-wicket victory over Kidderpore Sporting while Tollygunge Agragami edged past Calcutta Port Trust by 3 wickets.
