Bengal U19 trail by 168 runs

Prayas Ray Barman took 2 quick wickets to restrict Madhya Pradesh to 91/3 at the end of the second day's play in Cooch Behar Trophy as Bengal U-19 trail by 168 runs.
Earlier Bengal batters amassed 148 runs losing all wickets riding on Sourav Paul's fluent half-century.
Bengal got off to shaky start losing 7 wickets for a platry 69 runs but Sourav stood tall with the bat to smash 52 off 92 balls while Prabhat Maurya stayed unbeaten on 28 to add valuable runs for the team.
Prankesh Rai was the highest wicket taker for MP as he took 4 wickets for 38 runs while Ishan Afridi and Adheer Singh took 2 wickets apiece.
Prayas gave Bengal the early advantage by taking MP's opener Dev Barnale on 12 to reduce them to 24/1 in the second innings.
With these two wickets Bengal bowler Prayas has already taken his tally to 6 wickets in this match while Suraj Vashisht (40) and Rahul Chandrol (19) are on the crease for MP.
