Samsul Huda's 6-wicket haul powered Wari Athletic Club to a 43-run victory against Tollygunge Agragami in CAB First Division League tournament (2 days) today.
Defending a total of 348 runs Samsul picked up 6 wickets for 88 runs while Kamal Mondal's 177-ball 90 went in vain as Tollygunge were all out for 305.
In another match Zubair Ali Khan's all-round performance was not enough for YMCA (Coll Br) as they lost by 5 wickets against George Telegraph who chased down 173-run target comfortably in 46.5 overs.
In other 7 matches started today Md Sporting are in good position as they reduced BNR Recreation Club to 9/2 thanks to Arun Lal Yadav who took 2 wickets in just 2 overs giving just 2 runs while batting first Md Sporting posted 259 all out. Akhilesh Yadav 6 picked up 86 runs for BNR.
Ballygunge United batter Souvik Moitra hit 133 to help his team post 404/7 against Netaji Sunbhas Institute while Satyajeet Roy's five-for helped Belgachia United bundle out Kumartuli Institute for 230.

Kolkata Union's score read 3 for no loss after Calcutta Customs rode on Chirag Pathak century to make 345 runs today while in another match WB Police were all out for 295 against Aikya Sammilani.
Rakesh Solanki (114) century powered Calcutta Port Trust 276 runs losing all wickets against Bhukailash Sporting Club.
