On the other hand, a meeting of the first division clubs held today at the CAB office discussed some changes, taking place in the format of first-division matches, commencing this season.
Instead of two, matches will now be played for three days, with one team batting for a maximum of 115 overs in the first innings. However, no such limitation has been said about the second essay, which will be on the judgment of the Umpires, depending up on the time left in the match.
Also, the points table will have some change that says, a team getting an outright win will get 6 points, a team getting only a first innings lead will get 4 points, a team conceding a first innings lead will get 2. While a draw or a tie of match will share three points between the sides. A team losing outright will get nothing.
