A dominant all-round performance powered Bengal U23 team to a comfortable 102-run victory over Odisha in the Col C K Nayudu Trophy Elite on Monday.
Irshad Alam (5-71) and Rohit (5-61) were brilliant with the ball for Bengal.
After posting 343 in their first innings, Bengal bowled out Odisha for 321.
In their second innings, Bengal scored 271/9 decl to hand a tough target to Odisha. Ayush Kumar Singh scored a fine 129 after his 107 in the first innings.
Chasing the target, Odisha were bowled out for 191.
