Bengal bag successive wins in Senior Women’s One-Day

Riding on a brilliant all-round show, Bengal outclassed Chandigarh by 100 runs to script their second straight victory of the Senior Women’s One-day Trophy Elite on Sunday.
Batting first, Bengal scored 311/6 in 50 overs, thanks to Sasthi Mondal (75), Tanushree Sarkar (65), Mita Paul (56), Dhara Gujjar (58).
In reply, Chandigarh managed only 211/8 in 50 overs. Bidisha Dey and Saika Ishaque bagged two wickets each for Bengal.
