Gharami’s unbeaten 216 puts Bengal in driver’s seat
in Ranji Quarterfinals

Riding on Sudip Kumar Gharami’s unbeaten 216, Bengal ended Day 3 on top against Andhra in the Ranji Trophy Elite Quarterfinals at the Bengal Cricket Academy in Kalyani on Sunday.
Enroute his maiden First-Class double ton, Gharami hit 27 boundaries. He was well supported in the other end by Sumanta Gupta (81), Shakir Habib Gandhi (45 not out).
At the end of the third day, Bengal were 418/6 in 146 overs in the first innings, extending their lead to 123 runs.
Earlier, Andhra scored 295 in their first innings.
