Riding on a brilliant 107 by Ayush Kumar Singh, Bengal scored 301/6 at stumps on Day 1 against Odisha in the Col C K Nayudu Trophy Elite match in Bargarh on Friday.
Enroute his 148-ball knock, Ayush hit 15 fours and 1 six.
Anas (68), Vishal Bhati (44), Prabhat Maurya (32) also impressed with the bat for Bengal.
Shashank Singh (19) and Ravi Kumar (1) remained unbeaten for Bengal.
