Akash Deep, Shahbaz bag 5 each to put Bengal on top
against Haryana

Akash Deep (5-40) and Shahbaz Ahmed (5-42) were brilliant with the ball as Bengal ended Day 2 on top against Haryana in their Ranji Trophy Elite match in Lahli on Friday.
After posting 193 in their first innings, Bengal bundled out Haryana for just 100 to bag a vital lead. Sudip Chatterjee scored a fighting 86.
In their second innings, Bengal were 155/3 at the end of the second day’s play, with a lead of 248 runs.
Skipper Abhimanyu Easwaran (61 not out) and Sudip Kumar Gharami (61) were the star batters for Bengal.
