Bengal U23 bowlers were made to toil hard against Mumbai on the opening day in the Col C K Nayudu Trophy Elite match in Mumbai on Friday.
At stumps on Day 1, Mumbai were 355/4 in 90 overs. Pranab Kapadia (83), Manan Bhatt (68 not out) were the star batters.
For Bengal, Irshad Alam bagged two wickets while Sukhmeet Singh and Rohit claimed one each.
