Bengal goes down to Maharashtra in Women’s U15

Bengal went down by 1 wicket after a hard-fought contest against Maharashtra in the semifinals of the Women’s Under-15 One-Day Trophy Elite in Puducherry on Monday.
Batting first, Bengal managed only 119 in 30.4 overs. Sneha Mahato scored a fighting 53 off 65.
In reply, Maharashtra were in control at 74/4 in the 24th over until Bengal made a brilliant comeback to reduce them to 106/9 in the 32nd over.
At the end, Maharashtra tail-enders kept their cool to take team over the line scoring 123/9 in 33 overs.
For Bengal, Snigdha Bag bagged three wickets while Ariktha Manna claimed two.
