Bengal storm into semifinals of Women’s U15 One-Day

Defending champions Bengal outclassed Rajasthan by 8 wickets in the quarterfinals on Saturday to enter the last four and stay on course for back-to-back Women’s Under-15 One-Day Trophy titles.
In the last-eight clash in Puducherry, Rajasthan, after being asked to bat, managed to post only 153/9 in 35 overs.
Ariktha Manna (3-38), Salma Khatun (1-24), Debosmita Kalsa (1-25), Radhika Kumari (1-14) were superb with the ball for Bengal.
In reply, Bengal went over the line comfortably, scoring 156/2 in 29 overs.
Shyla Senapati (65 not out off 62), Adrija Sarkar (47 not out off 57), Sneha Mahato (22 off 31) and Debosmita (12 not out) were the pick of the Bengal batters.
In the semifinals, Bengal will take on Maharashtra on Monday.
