Unbeaten Bengal enter quarterfinals of Women’s
U15 One-Day Trophy

Defending champions Bengal stormed into the quarterfinals of the Women’s Under-15 One-Day Trophy Elite after a dominant eight-wicket victory over Tamil Nadu in Trivandrum on Saturday.
Winning all five Elite Group A games, Bengal make the last eight stage with 20 points.
Put into bat, Tamil Nadu lost wickets at regular intervals, thus managing only 121/9 in 35 overs. Salma Khatun (3-26), Debosmita Kalsa (2-18), Radhika Kumari (2-16) and Protyusha Dey (1-21) were brilliant with the ball for Bengal.
In reply, Bengal went over the line easily, scoring 123/2 in 28.5 overs. Shyla Senapati (69 not out off 81), Adrija Sarkar (23), Sneha Mahato (17) were the star batters for Bengal.
