Riding on a brilliant all-round show, defending champions Bengal outclassed Himachal Pradesh by 5 wickets on Tuesday to script their third successive victory of the Women’s Under-15 One-Day Trophy Elite.
Batting first, Himachal Pradesh managed only 112/7 in 35 overs. Protyusha Dey (1-15), Salma Khatun (2-16), Snigdha Bag (2-23), Radhika Kumari (1-13), Debosmita Kalsa (1-24) were superb with the ball for Bengal.
In reply, Bengal went over the line scoring 113/5 in 24 overs. Radhika (33 not out), Shyla Senapati (26), Ariktha Manna (20 not out) were the pick of the Bengal batters.
