The Bengal senior women’s team members pose at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport, Kolkata on Sunday before departing for Nagpur to play at the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy Elite which will begin on October 8.
The Mita Paul-led team will take on Madhya Pradesh in their opening match on Wednesday at the VCA Stadium. In their second match, Bengal will face Rajasthan on Thursday, followed by Punjab on October 11, Saurashtra on October 13, Maharashtra on October 15, Pondicherry on October 17 and Tamil Nadu on October 19.
Last season, Bengal finished as runners-up in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy, displaying a dominant brand of cricket.
