Amid festivities, Bengal preparations are in full throttle

While the city is engrossed in the beats of the dhak and the fragrance of dhunuchi as Maa Durga arrives with her blessings, the mood at the JU, 2nd Campus Ground, Salt Lake was little different as Bengal teams' preparations were in full swing for the forthcoming BCCI domestic season.
Bengal team coaches and CAB top-brass are leaving no stone unturned ahead of the all-important domestic season starting next month.
Today, a day called as Subho Sasthi, which marks the formal beginning of the five-day Durga Puja festival, saw Bengal Senior and U-19 men's teams undergoing a training session in the morning to keep themselves focused on the goal ahead.
Bengal Senior Men's head coach Laxmi Ratan Shukla, fielding coach Charanjit Singh Matharu and Under-19 head coach Sourashish Lahiri, coach Sanjib Sanyal monitored the training along with support staff. Also present for the training were CAB Joint Secretary Madan Mohan Ghosh and CAB Treasurer Sanjay Das.
