CAB conducts 94th Annual General Meeting with
unanimous acceptance

The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) conducted its 94th Annual General Meeting on Monday in a smooth and befitting manner.
In the 94th AGM, CAB President Snehasish Ganguly lauded the efforts put in to host a successful India-England T20 match and second edition of Bengal Pro T20 League.
"I would like to thank all my office bearers, former international players, Apex Council Members, representatives from Clubs and districts who are present here. We have been successful in hosting the India-England T20I, second edition of Bengal Pro T20 League and all CAB matches. I would like to wish the next CAB Office bearers the best for the next few years," Mr Ganguly said during his speech at the AGM.
Alongside CAB President Ganguly, CAB Vice President Amalendu Biswas, Hony Secretary Naresh Ojha and Treasurer Prabir Chakraborty were also present for the meeting. Also present were former BCCI President Sourav Ganguly, women’s cricket icon Jhulan Goswami along with members of various clubs and districts.
The Secretary's report and Treasurer's report were also accepted unanimously.
CAB President Snehashish Ganguly also thanked all affiliated units and district associations for smooth conduct of the games in the 2024-2025 season.
Mr Ganguly also announced that CAB will set up a Cricket Academy at Dumurjala, Howrah.
He also thanked the Police and Army for their support in all the matches throughout the year.
During the AGM, the Electoral Officer of CAB Mr Sushanta Ranjan Upadhyay also declared Mr Sourav Ganguly as the new President of CAB, Mr Nitish Ranjan Dutta as the new CAB Vice President, Bablu Koley the new CAB Hony Secretary, Madan Mohan Ghosh as the new CAB Joint Secretary and Sanjay Das as the new CAB Treasurer.
Mr Upadhyay also named Koushik Mukherjee, Vivek Lohia, Shoumik Bose, Nav Ratan Jhawar, Nilanjana Bose, Surajit Lahiri, Ravi Todi, Joydeep Mukherjee, Soumendu Chatterjee, Asis Chakraborty, Goutam Goswami as the members of Apex Council.
