Rohit (6-70), Ankit (68) power Bengal in GCA-Reliance
U-19 multi-day meet semifinals

An impressive show with the ball followed by a clinical effort with the bat put Bengal on top against Goa in the semifinal match of the GCA-Reliance Men’s Under-19 All India Invitation (3-day) Tournament on Thursday.
After posting 229 in their first innings, Bengal bowled out Goa for 228 to bag the all-important first innings lead by just 1 run at the Railway Ground in Ahmedabad.
Rohit (6-70) was brilliant with the ball for Bengal while Agastya Shukla, Rohit Das, Ashutosh Kumar and Sayan Paul claimed one each.
Bengal, in their second innings, scored 169/6 at stumps with a lead of 170 runs on the second and penultimate day. Ankit Chatterjee (68), Sayan (31), Ashutosh (22 not out) and Sachin Yadav (22 not out) impressed with the bat for Bengal.
