VISION 2028 SIXTH PHASE CONCLUDES

The sixth phase of Vision 2028, which began on August 9, concluded today at the Eden Gardens Indoor Facility.
The 12-day camp was attended by Bengal Senior, Under-23, U-19, U-15 Women’s teams along with U-16 men’s team.
The bowling department was guided by former India pacer Venkatesh Prasad along with former India spinner Narendra Hirwani. The batting department was taken care by Bengal’s Manoj Tiwary along with the bowling by Ashok Dinda. Also present for the camp to guide the youngsters were coaches Ajay Verma and Dattatreya Mukherjee along with coaches of various age-groups.
During the sixth phase, Prasad, Hirwani, Manoj and Dinda, focused more on improving and bettering the technical skills of the players.
At the start of each session, the coaches delivered inspirational and motivation words to the players. After the pep talk, both the boys and girls began their warm-ups followed by the net session.
During the nets, the coaches looked at the proceedings with hawk eyes. As the session went on, the coaches talked to the talents individually on how to better their bowling and batting skills.
Present for the final-day session on Wednesday alongside the Vision coaches were women’s cricket icon and Bengal senior women’s team mentor Jhulan Goswami, Bengal U-23 and U-19 women’s head coach Rumeli Dhar, U-15 women’s head coach Jayanta Ghosh Dastidar, U-16 men’s head coach Arindam Das & coach Sourav Sarkar and former women cricketers and selectors and team’s support staff.
