In the First Division Senior Knockout One-Day Tournament pre-quarterfinal matches on Tuesday, both the batters and bowlers impressed.
In the first match, Kazi Junaid Saifi smashed a brilliant 140 off 128 balls along with Priyanshu Shrivastava (66), Karan Lal (59) as Barisha Sporting Club beat BNR Recreation Club by 60 runs. Barisha Sporting Club scored 343/6. Balkesh Yadav and Sumanta Gupta bagged 3 wickets each. In reply, BNR Recreation Club scored 283. Vikrant Singh Rajput scored a fighting 134 off 109.
In other matches, Aishik Patel (96), Suprodip Debnath (66), Saksham Chaudhary (4-26), Geet Puri (3-4) helped Town Club beat Police Athletic Club by 142 runs. Town Club scored 338/9. Anish Prasad bagged 3 for 37. In reply, Police Athletic Club scored 196.
