In the CAB Women’s Club Cricket League One-Day Tournament matches on Sunday, both the bowlers and batters impressed.
In the first match, Parana Paul (136), Shivanshi Tiwari (73), Avipsha Ghosh (2-30) helped Town Club beat Calcutta Police Club by 90 runs. Town Club scored 322/4. Calcutta Police Club scored 232/7.
In other matches, Sansthita Biswas (93), Piyali Ghosh (3-25), Mita Paul (2-24) helped Md Sporting Club beat Salkia Friends Association by 7 wickets. Salkia Friends Association scored 148. Md Sporting Club scored 149/3.
Debarati Guha (5-27), Prativa Rana (82) helped East Bengal Club beat Rajasthan Club by 60 runs. Dhara Gujjar bagged 4 for 39. Tithi Das scored 59. East Bengal Club scored 216/7. Rajasthan Club scored 156.
Mahima Mahato (4-8), Shrabani Paul (2-9), Mamata Kisku (38) helped Kalighat Club beat Bhowanipur Club by 5 wickets. Bhowanipur scored 109. Kalighat Club scored 111/5.
Dyuti Paul (67), Shreya Roy (59), Debosmita (3-20), Jhumia Khatun (2-15) helped Aryan Club beat Wari Athletic Club by 119 runs. Aryan Club scored 280/7. In reply, Wari Athletic Club scored 161.
Puja Rajak (53), Aradhya Kumari Tiwary (4-12) helped Mohun Bagan AC beat Barisha Sporting Club by 44 runs. Rupa Dutta (3-19) and Jahanvi Paswan (3-23) impressed. Mohun Bagan scored 143. Barisha Sporting scored 99.
