Rabindra Bharati University beat Burdwan University by 3 wickets in the final match on Saturday to emerge champions of Ajoy Ghosh Memorial Tournament.
Batting first, Burdwan University posted 225 in 46.3 overs, thanks to a brilliant 125 by Animikh Ghosh. Om Bhagat (3-29), Ronit Mitra (2-55) and Jahir Khan (2-41) impressed with the ball.
In reply, Rabindra Bharati University chased it down scoring 226/7. Bivanshu (98 not out), Om (39) and Jahir (34 not out) impressed.
Sumit Das (3-28) and Biswajit Yadav (3-33) were the pick of the bowlers.
