Club bag wins in First Div Relegation meet

In the CAB First Division Relegation Tournament Second Round matches on Thursday, the bowlers dominated the batters on Day 2.
In the first match, Paikpara Sporting Club beat BNR Recreation Club by virtue of higher run rate. Riding on a brilliant unbeaten 172 by Abhro Das, Paikpara Sporting Club scored 288/8. Abhijeet Bhagat was the pick of the bowlers bagging 4 for 66.
In reply, BNR Recreation Club were 158/6, when rain stopped play. With weather showing no signs of improvement, Paikpara Sporting were declared winners. Vikrant Singh Rajput scored 45. Tanmoy Dutta bagged 4 for 39.
In the second match, Indian Boys Athletic Club beat YMCA (College Branch) by virtue of higher run rate. Shivam Dixit (5-96) was superb with the ball for YMCA (College Branch). Prince Yadav (85) helped Indian Boys Athletic Club post 255.
In reply, YMCA (College Branch) were 180/5 when rain stopped play. With the weather showing no signs of improvement, Indian Boys Athletic Club were declared winners. Biplab Roy Chowdhury bagged 2 wickets.
