In the CAB Second Division League two-day encounters on Wednesday, both the bowlers and batters impressed on Day 2.
In the first match, Sachin Yadav (6-38, 57), Sparsh Mimani (151), Raushan Kumar (129) helped Amateur Cricket Club beat Abasar by 307 runs. Amateur Cricket Club posted 501/6. Abasar scored just 194. Aahan Paul scored 72.
In other matches, Sayantan Mahapatra (5-35), Md Faisal Hussain Khan (235) helped Victoria Sporting Club beat Albert Sporting Club by 313 runs. Victoria Sporting Club posted 491/7. Albert Sporting Club scored 178.
Siddharth Mishra (97), Priyanshu Aryan (55), Anjan Saha (55) helped Satya Sandhi beat Sarat Samity by 3 wickets. Sarat Samity posted 320. Satya Sandhi scored 321/7. Om Kumar Das bagged 5 for 115.
Tripto Sur (82), Sourav Dey (72) helped City AC beat Taltala Ekata Sangha by 6 wickets. Taltala Ekata Sangha posted 216. In reply, City AC scored 217/4.
Kundan Sharma (4-27), Ashish Kumar (4-24), Udit Yadav (118) helped South Suburban Club beat High Court Club by 274 runs. South Suburban Club posted 369. In reply, High Court Club scored just 95.
Binoy Tirkey (55), Kaustabh Das (41) helped Friends Sporting Union beat Howrah Union by 4 wickets. Rohit Das bagged an impressive 5 for 35. Howrah Union posted 165. Friends Sporting Union scored 169/6.
