Avijit (137), Rohit (5-5), Karan (108), Kaif (5-56) star in First Div League two-day meet

In the CAB First Division League Group B two-day encounters on Tuesday, both the bowlers and batsmen dominated on Day 1.
In the first match, Avijit Mondal (137), Karan Singh (108) helped Dakshin Kalikata Sansad post 310. For Kumartuli Institute, Vivek Kumar Singh and Sayan Paul bagged 4 wickets each.
In other matches, Rohit (5-5), Priyanshu Gautam (3-33), Yashovardhan Singh (44) helped Ballygunge United Club beat Police Athletic Club by 9 wickets. Police Athletic Club were bundled out for 65. Ballygunge United Club scored 68/1.
Yuvraj Gupta (98), Rajdeep Paswan (52) helped Belgachia United Club post 288. Ayush Raj (4-82), Swapnil Choudhary (3-61) impressed with the ball. E.Rly.Sports Association posted 26/1 at stumps.
Kaif Abbas (5-56) helped Kolkata Union Sporting Club bowl out Tollygunge Agragami for 173. Kolkata Union Sporting Club scored 135/4 at stumps. Vivek Singh scored unbeaten 39. Adarsh Jaiswal bagged 3 wickets.
Amar Chaudhary (5-78) and Anshuman Pandey (4-45) were superb with the ball for Bhukailash Sporting Club. Shibpur Institute posted 236, thanks to Rahul Yadav (64), Abhiprai Biswas (62) and Sandeep Mittal (55). In reply, Bhukailash Sporting Club were 126/6 at stumps. Abhishek Yadav scored unbeaten 56.
Rahul Prasad (4-89), Rohit Dua (2-23), Saikat Hansda (2-46) helped Aikya Sammilani bowl out Paikpara Sporting Club for 191. Abhro Das scored 55. In reply, Aikya Sammilani were 105/5 at stumps.
