In the CAB Second Division League two-day encounters on Sunday, both the bowlers and batters impressed on Day 2.
In the first match, Virat (143) helped Sahapur Sporting Club beat Bansdroni Young Bengal Sporting Association by 2 wickets. Sasanka Das (154) helped Bansdroni Young Bengal Sporting Association post 306. Sahapur Sporting Club scored 307/8. Rahul Thakur and Rishav Sharma bagged 4 wickets each.
In other matches, Lohit Singh (67, 4-36), Vikash Meena (76, 3-69) helped Aurora Athletic Association beat Cricket Club of Dhakuria by 5 wickets. Cricket Club of Dhakuria posted 256. Aurora Athletic Association posted 260/5.
Atanu Santra (4-27), Sachin Dubey (3-42, 47) helped Taltala Institute beat Calcutta Parsee Club by 39 runs. Taltala Institute posted 323. Calcutta Parsee Club scored 284. Joydeb Nath scored a fine 102.
