to big win in Women’s U-23 One-Day

Riding on a brilliant all-round performance, Bengal outclassed Pondicherry by 149 runs in the Women’s Under-23 One-Day Trophy in Chandigarh on Friday.
Batting first, Bengal posted a challenging 274/4 in 50 overs.
Sneha Gupta (91), Dyuti Paul (73 not out), Dhara Gujjar (66), Bristi Maji (17) and Priyanka Prasad (16 not out) were superb with the bat for Bengal.
In reply, Pondicherry were bundled out for just 125 in 36.2 overs.
For Bengal, Rupal Tiwari (3-27), Sasthi Mondal (2-11), Sushmita Ganguly (2-27), Monika Mal (1-13), Prativa Mandi (1-17) were superb with the ball.
