In the CAB First Division League Group B two-day encounters on Friday, both the batters and bowlers dominated on Day 2.
In the first match, Saurav Kumar (6-60) helped Police Athletic Club beat Kolkata Union Sporting Club by 163 runs. Police Athletic Club posted 322/8. Kolkata Union Sporting Club scored 159.
In other matches, Narayan Rana (5-79) helped Shibpur Institute beat Belgachia United Club by 104 runs. Shibpur Institute post 386. Belgachia United Club scored 282. Arijit Goswami scored 82.
Rohit Dua (4-70), Ashutosh Kumar (4-42), Avinash Kumar (173) and Anas Ali Khan (167) helped Aikya Sammilani beat Kumartuli Institute by 262 runs. Aikya Sammilani posted 482/6. In reply, Kumartuli Institute scored 220. Sayan Paul scored 66.
Avijit Mondal (88), Soumyadip Manna (74) helped Dakshin Kalikata Sansad beat Tollygunge Agragami by 6 wickets. Tollygunge Agragami posted 254. In reply, Dakshin Kalikata Sansad scored 255/4.
Ranjit Agarwal (4-19), Amar Chaudhary (3-56) helped Bhukailash Sporting Club beat Paikpara Sporting Club by 53 runs. Bhukailash Sporting Club scored 215. In reply, Paikpara Sporting Club scored 162.
