In the CAB First Division League Group B two-day encounters on Thursday, both the batters and bowlers dominated on Day 1.
In the first match, Avinash Kumar (173 not out) and Anas Ali Khan (167) batted superbly as Aikya Sammilani posted 482/6 at stumps. For Kumartuli Institute, Vivek Kumar Singh bagged 3 wickets.
In other matches, Anuj Kumar Singh (120), Sandeep Mittal (79), Ravi Yadav (57) helped Shibpur Institute post 386. For Belgachia United Club, Vikas bagged 3 for 57.
Triash Das (111) helped Tollygunge Agragami post 254. Karan Singh bagged 5 for 99. In reply, Dakshin Kalikata Sansad were 25/1 at stumps.
Abhishek Sakuja (6-64) helped Paikpara Sporting Club bowl out Bhukailash Sporting Club for 215. Amar Chaudhury top-scored with 44. In reply, Paikpara Sporting Club scored 65/2 at stumps.
Bapi Manna (4-50), Rajarshi Mitra (3-25), Harsh Tyagi (33) helped Aryan Club beat E.Rly.Sports Association by 6 wickets. E.Rly.Sports Association scored just 128. Aryan Club scored 132/4.
Ayush Ghosh (86), Sayak Basu (74) helped Police Athletic Club post 322/8. For Kolkata Union Sporting Club, Kaif Abbas (4-83), Sumit Rajak (3-102) impressed.
