Sayantan (85), Ayaz (6-101), Agneesh (72) star in Second Div League

In the CAB Second Division League two-day encounters on Wednesday, both the bowlers and batsmen impressed on Day 2.
In the first match, Sayantan Paul (85 not out), Tufan Roy (62) helped Bantra Cricket Club beat Excelsiors Club by 3 wickets. Excelsiors Club posted 250. Sayan Mondal bagged a superb 5 for 67. In reply, Bantra Cricket Club scored 252/7. Ayaz Uddin Siddik bagged 6 for 101.
In other matches, Sarit Datta (4-85), Raunav Hazra (3-69), Monomit Mitra (3-85), Dipak Prasad (186) and Abhishant (181) helped Suburban Club beat Mohunlal Club by 326 runs. Suburban Club posted 589/8. In reply, Mohunlal Club scored 263. Rohan Das (68), Sayan Ghosh (58) impressed with the bat.
Virat (3-47), Amit Roy (2-25), Abhimanyu Singh (2-74), Shriwats Singh (137) helped Sahapur Sporting Club beat Gymkhana by 75 runs. Sahapur Sporting Club posted 293. Gymkhana scored 218.
Agneesh Chatterjee (72 not out), Ayush Rajbhar (64) batted superbly while Anand Sharma bagged an impressive 6 for 48 as Wari Athletic Club beat Jorabagan Club by 8 wickets. Jorabagan Club scored 150. In reply, Wari Athletic Club scored 151/2.
Sayan Das (3-74), Keshab Mondal (2-37), Joydeep Roy (125) helped Cricket Club of Dhakuria beat Calcutta Parsee Club by 85 runs. Cricket Club of Dhakuria posted 406. In reply, Calcutta Parsee Club scored 321. Pankaj Singh (65), Luv Keshri (64), Joydeb Nath (60), Chandan Giri (50) impressed with the bat.
Salman Khan (64), Indrajit Orang (52) helped Burnpur Cricket Club beat Alipore Sporting Club by 5 wickets. Alipore Sporting Club posted 224. In reply, Burnpur Cricket Club scored 225/5. Krish Singh and Ankit Saroj bagged 2 wickets each.
