Abir (79) star in Inter Dist U-15 two-day meet

In the CAB Inter District Under-15 Two-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Monday, both batsmen and bowlers impressed on Day 2.
In the first match, Prabin Chettri (134 off 185 balls) batted superbly while Tufan Roy (6-47) was impressive with the ball as Siliguri MKP beat Birbhum DSA by 2 wickets. Birbhum DSA posted 248/9. In reply, Siliguri MKP scored 249/8.
In other matches, Sandipan Mondal (4-20, 54), Samriddha Das Chakraborty (3-38), Swarnayan Paul (100) helped South 24-PGS DSA beat Malda DSA by 285 runs. South 24-PGS DSA posted 369. Malda DSA were bowled out for 84.
Jalpaiguri DSA beat Chandernagore SA by virtue of spin of coin after the match ended in a draw. Rathijit Mukherjee (67), Archisman Das (56) helped Chandernagore SA post 234. Shubhradip Paul (4-39) and Pragyamoy Chakraborty (3-66) impressed. Jalpaiguri DSA scored 234, thanks to Abir Ghosh (79). Archisman, Soumalya Singha and Arpan Ghatak bagged 3 wickets each.
